~ Saturday Snapshot ~ Jazzy! ~

This is Jazzy. She doesn't get a long with most of her siblings because she doesn't like other cats! She would like to be the only cat in the family! Jazzy chooses to spend most of her time in the basement. When she wants to, she has a great personality. She's goofy, playful and sweet. Othertimes, she's grouchy, obstinate and a little aggressive! I have had a few scratches and cuts from Jazzy! They're mostly from teaching her things such as,  to drink from a bowl instead of what she's doing in the last photo!   Jazzy actually barks, as in "ruff, ruff"sometimes alomg with a "grrrowlll" when she plays with and chews catnip. I want to get that on video!
Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce on At Home with Books. It's easy to participate, just post a photo taken by you, a friend or a family member and link to the Mister Linky at the bottom of Alyce's post

  3. LOL @ the last photo! And I love the one where Jazzy is cuddling up to the teddy. What a character :)

  4. Bravo to you if you get Jazzy to drink out of a bowl. I'm not successful, apparently leaving the lid down works.

  5. Jazzy's beautiful!

My cat won't drink water unless it's running from the faucet in the tub. I can't figure it out!

  6. My SIL had a cat that would only drink from the toilet...ughhh

  8. Aw, that second photo is so cute :)

My cat won't drink from a bowl either but luckily he prefers the sink to the toilet!

  9. I hope she picks up the drinking from a bowl thing :-)
Cats, they certainly have their personalities :-)

  10. Cats really do have distinct personalities. Jazzy is so cute!

  11. Haha She is a such sweet heart! My mother-in-law's cat will only drink water from a running faucet. She lets you know when she is thirsty and then you must turn the faucet on.

Wishing you and the seven tails a wonderful Sunday and week ahead. :)

  12. Gotta love a cat with attitude! Jazzy looks to be a corker!

  13. Is that a string hanging off her ear in the first picture? Adorable! My cat likes to drink water out of the sink. We haven't managed to train her to turn it on and off herself yet... :)

  14. TRISH: Clownish is a good description of Jazzy's playful mood! We named her Jazzy because when she was younger, she always seemed to dance across the floor whether she was chasing a ball or on her way to eat! She's a little bit calmer now

  15. BERMUDAONION: SHe sure is, Kathy! And you never know what mood she'll be in but she can always be distracted by throwing one of many soft, colored golf-ball cat toys we have. Jazzy loves these and will run off chasing it no matter what else she was doing!

  16. KAY: LOL so you knw what it's like!
My husband discourages this behavior because 2 of his family's cats liked to drink from the toilet together and often ended up swatting each other until the day one of them ended up in the toilet!

  17. NIKKI-ANN: Thank you for visting my blog and commenting. Jazzy is a constant surprise! The teddy bear hugging is very uncharacteristic. I love the photo since Jazzy looks so sweet - which she can be, it's just not one of her regular moods!

  18. IRENE: We leave the lid down! When we started doing that, we discovered Jazzy drinking out of a pot ordish left soaking in the sink...but it had soap in it! I don't know what's the problem with a reguar bowl of water but Jazzy won't touch it!

  19. EUGENIA O'NEAL: I have a cat who insists on drinking out of the tub faucet - Big Sexy Bob (as his vet calls him!) Bob loves to hop in the tub, sit for a few minutes looking around and then start lapping water from the faucet. It seems so much easier to use a bowl! Several of my other cats love the tub but I haven't seen any others drink from the faucet!

    Your name is beautiful!

  20. DIANE: Ugghhhh sums it up well for me, too. When I was ggrowing up, my family had several big dogs and they loved to drink from the toilet, too. Oooo boy, did my mother hate that!

Glad you like the photos :o)

  21. ALYCE: If Jazzy could kick all of the other cats out of the house successfully, I have no doubt she would do so immediately! Instead her barks and growls keep the other cats away from her!

  22. SAM: Lucky you! I've been trying to teach Jazzy to use the bathroom sink...she loves the bathroom and the sink has a large bowl so I'm hoping she'll take to it sooner rather than later!

  23. EVA: So very true, Eva. Their varying personalities, quirks and idiosyncrasies are one of the things I love about cats. It's fun to see their personalities develop, too if you're fortunate enogh to watch a cat grow up.

Thank you for coming by my blog and commenting, Eva!

  24. JoANN: Thank you! Jazzy agrees with you whole-heartedly!

It's hard to see in a photo but Jazzy has a very pretty face and big green eyes!

  25. PESKY CAT DESIGNS: Hello! Thank you and it's great to "see" you!
Your MIL was lucky to have a good communicator in her cat. Mine seem to expect me to know what they want and produce it!

I hope Anni is doing well and you are bothe having a great Spring! I will stop by soon- your faux suede bags are stunning!

  26. SUSAN LINDQUIST: You are spot on with your term for Jazzy! She has personality in spades.

Thank you for visiting and commenting!

  27. MARVELOUSTALES: Of course not, she wants you to wait on her! lol

Yes, that's a string hanging off Jazzy's ear! She was playing with one of the cats's string toys vigorously. She stopped to rest and when I looked at her, the string was hanging there and Jazzy didn't seem to mind! lol

Thank you for visiting my blog and commenting, I really appreciate it :o)
